Bonjour, I’m Kévin and I am an enthusiastic, hardworking and passionate French native teacher currently working in the independent sector in London.
As a Modern Foreign Languages teacher, I am passionate about French and teaching and learning. I have a strong knowledge of how to help students develop skills to learn a language over time. My lessons are always planned based on my students' need and strong progress happens from the first lesson.
I have been teaching French since 2017 to KS3, KS4 and KS5 classes.
I have been working with three of the main exam boards as either an examiner, a team leader. My knowledge of how exams work and are conducted is therefore excellent. I have excellent results at both GCSE and A level. It is quite common to see the students I tutor gain more than one grade in their exams.
As a teacher, I always build my pupils' confidence by tailoring and crafting my lessons to students’ needs. I believe that in order for them to be confident at using and understanding French, they need to believe they can do it. To do so, on top of having access to a wide range of resources already, I have created my very own resources for the four skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing) which can all be adapted to my students’ level. These resources are also tailored to meet the main exam boards criteria.
As a tutor, parents/guardians can expect me to give my fullest to help their child progress in French. I have an excellent record of results for both GCSE and A level classes.
I give formative feedback in every lesson, assess progress overtime and regularly give feedback to parents/guardians regarding your child's progress. I also provide key vocabulary and grammar list for students to work on as well as homework to consolidate work seen in class.
