I'm a dedicated and approachable tutor with over 7 years of experience helping students succeed in English Literature, Law (including Family, Human Rights, and International Law), and English Language.
I have achieved in obtaining a Master's Degree with Distinction in Public International Law from Bournemouth University.
I speak both English and Bulgarian, and I work with students from all backgrounds to improve their academic writing, confidence, and understanding.
My goal is always the same: to help you reach your full potential. Whether you're aiming for a strong 2:1 or pushing for a Distinction, I’ll guide you step by step with expert support and a warm, practical approach.
I’ve supported students through A-levels, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, helping every one of them pass their exams and dissertations with a 2:1 or above, many achieving Distinctions. I was a university lecturer in Family Law, so I understand how grading works and how to write to meet academic expectations.
My teaching combines legal insight, academic research skills, and clear communication. I’ve helped students sharpen their legal arguments, plan outstanding literature essays, and write clearly and persuasively in English - even when it's not their first language.
Beyond this, I have also had the experience of teaching underprivileged children in Bulgaria pro bono.
I know what it's like to struggle with complex subjects. I had to teach myself how to succeed by being thorough, asking questions (even the “silly” ones), and repeating things until they stuck. That’s why my teaching style is patient, supportive, and practical.
From my previous experience as a Law Lecturer at Bournemouth University, I understand how the marking system works. That is why I teach through real-life examples and model answers, which we build together so you can learn how to apply knowledge confidently. Test and exam questions often follow patterns - so with the right preparation, including model responses, you'll walk in ready to impress.
I’ll also show you how to research effectively without wasting time - a key skill that often holds students back. This will be a magnificent weight of pressure off your shoulders once you can figure out how to ask the "right" questions. Whether you're in class or sitting an exam, knowing how to find and use information quickly is a major advantage.
