I firmly believe that teachers are the most influential people in everyone’s life. Having worked in the education sector for more than five years , I want to be the person in a student’s life who makes a difference by understanding the strengths and needs of the individual. It is my passion to work with students from any backgrounds and I love to teach my knowledge and experiences to them with enthusiasm and a sense of humour. I strongly believe in enabling achievement and opportunity for all students.
I am currently working as Head of Computing in a Secondary School in London. During my current and last teaching practice, I was involved in teaching key stage 3, 4 and 5 students in both computing and ICT. In addition to that, I have experience in teaching post 16 , undergraduate and master level computer science. I have experience in teaching various programming languages like C, C++, java and python along with server-side scripting languages like PHP and MySQL. I also have a practical experience is using HTML, JavaScript, PHP during my position as webmaster. I made a habit of implementing a teaching practice which promotes independent learning with an inclusive classroom environment.
I am well known in my working environment for my adaptability and my reliability. I establish rapport with people as it helps me do the job in a much more efficient way. It makes the working place a productive environment of doing things.I will promote a love of learning by creating a positive learning environment. At the end of each class, the student will know and can answer the question of why, how, when and where they could use the lesson they learned. My lesson plan will consistently promote and develop student literacy, numeracy and keep the students updated with recent developments.
