Hi, I’m Sashila, a passionate and experienced teacher with a background in Biochemistry. I hold a PhD from the University of Manchester and have been teaching for 8 years. My expertise lies in GCSE and A Level Biology and Chemistry and I love helping students achieve their academic goals. Currently, I work as a Biology and Chemistry teacher at a prestigious private school in Cambridge.
I am committed to helping every student reach their full potential, whether they need help catching up, maintaining their current performance, or excelling beyond their current level. Feel free to get in touch to discuss how we can work together to achieve your academic goals!
I have over 8 years of experience in teaching students from various backgrounds, from secondary to sixth form particularly focusing on GCSE and A level exams. I have worked in a variety of educational institutions, including both state and private schools. Further, I am proficient in both OCR and AQA exam boards. I have successfully helped students improve their grades and gain confidence in their abilities.
My approach is student-cantered, meaning I tailor each lesson to the individual needs of the student. I believe in fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not only to help students understand the material but also to build their confidence and independent problem-solving skills. I use a variety of methods, from interactive problem-solving to real-world applications, to make learning engaging and effective.
