Sarah

Sarah has tutor my son for his AS level English Literature. Originally, he lacked confidence and was unsure how to approach essays correctly, as the change from GCSE to A level was very different. Sarah was amazing in boosting his confidence and giving him very specific advice on how to handle essays properly, planning and techniques. His time spent with Sarah is extremely structured to get the best out of it and Sarah always makes sure that he throughly understand what is expected from him in the exam to obtain a high mark. As Sarah use to be a teacher, she fully understand what is necessary to achieve high grades. My son is now predicted an A in his A level after the summer exams where previously it was a C. This change is all due to the hard work that Sarah has put in to preparing him throughly for the exams. I can honestly say if you choose Sarah you will not be disappointed - Sarah thank you so much.

We asked Sarah to tutor my son 3 months before his GCSE English exams, he had not done at all well in the mocks, was confused with what he need to do to get to the next level and was not making any improvement.

It was very impressive how Sarah was able to quickly identify the work that needed to be done - she made a plan and implemented it, making a difference within a few sessions. I found her extremely useful in giving me structure and planning for each specific question which in turn gave me confidence when doing the exams as I knew what I had to do.
