Hello. I've recently moved to South Bristol from London. I have two young children and we're currently enjoying getting to know Bristol and exploring all it has to offer.

Tutoring Experience

I've worked in teaching since 2004, first as an English teacher then as a Lead Practitioner of English, and lastly as an Associate Assistant Headteacher. I have experience teaching English at both GCSE and A-level and am well equipped to teach students that might have special educational needs. As a lead practitioner I specialised in teaching to the top and helping pupils achieve the top bands.

Tutoring Approach

I always take a holistic approach to teaching, ensuring that I identify a student's needs and look to raise their confidence and enjoyment of the subject. I'm passionate about English and always seek to share this passion and develop my student's love of learning. I have a lot of experience teaching students who speak English as an additional language and with students with learning needs, so have a range of methods for meeting specific student requirements.
