I'm an enthusiastic, conversational person who enjoys supporting others to build their confidence and abilities in languages. I enjoy languages, food, culture and playing tennis!

I am a qualified CELTA TEFL teacher since 2009. For the last year, I have experienced leading English TEFL classes of foreign students and devising regular weekly activities for my French students (GCSE and primary levels). During 1to1 French lessons, I help students aged 8-15 years old to understand a wide range of topics, such as, activities, school life, travel, celebrations, weather, shopping & money, my home town and relationships.

Having achieved AAA grades in English Literature, French and German at A-level standard, I graduated with a BA Hon. 2:1 degree in French and German Studies from Warwick University. I have lived abroad in both countries during my studies.

I offer personalised 1to1 tutoring from beginner to GCSE standard in French language. Customised to your goals, my teaching includes the following topics; grammar, spelling, conversation & role plays, pronunciation, comprehension of written texts and improving listening skills through podcasts and videos. As a seasoned linguist, I recommend resources to support further learning after our sessions too!

I am available to teach on Zoom/Skype/Microsoft Teams at flexible hours during the evenings or weekends. Each session would normally last either 45 minutes or 1 hour depending on the age of the student.

I will teach you at the pace that you prefer to learn and shape the sessions around the agreed topics.
