Positive reinforcement. Using retrieval techniques at the start of lessons to ensure students retain knowledge for the long term. Practicing from a variety of questions so tutees have a wide context and awareness of various challenges. Reviewing past papers. Reviewing other students mistakes to address misconceptions and ensure correct method is acknowledged.
