Hello, my name is Sandrine Removed I am a native French speaker but I have been living in England for the last 14 years. I am married and I have two children who are bilingual, of course and two dogs (who don’t even seem to understand English at the best of times!).
I was a qualified Modern Foreign Language teacher and Head of Department in one of the North East leading independent schools and teaching French and Spanish to children aged 4 to 16 years old for 10 years. I also have experience working in state secondary schools. I have great experience of Common Entrance examinations as well as GCSE. On the side, I am also an examiner for two of the main exam boards, which gives me a greater understanding of the exam requirements.
What I enjoy the most about tutoring is the fact that each tutee has different expectations and therefore each lesson is completely unique. Whether it is based on conversation, grammar or exam preparation, I can bring in my vast teaching experience when planning the lesson, while tailoring the content to the need of the individual.
