I am based in Aylesbury, I am an experienced private tutor. I have tutored many students who have achieved excellent grades in their final exams.
I am a qualified secondary school teacher and have been teaching for nearly 20 years. I am a Religious Studies subject specialist. I also teach Poltics Alevel.

Tutoring Experience

I am a Religious Studies and Philosophy and Ethics teacher. I also teach A level Sociology and am currently Head of Department. I have consistently gained excellent exam results for both GCSE and A levels.
I have taught AQA, OCR and Eduqas GCSE Religious Studies. I have taught OCR, AQA and Edexcel Philosophy and Ethics A level. I also teach AQA Sociology A level. I am able to tutor all exam boards.
I have been a teacher for 19 years, 18 of which have been in the capacity of Head of Department/ Subject Leader. I am a very experienced private tutor.
I have a degree in English and Religious Studies. My PGCE is in Religious Studies.
I have a Masters degree in Holocaust Studies from Royal Holloway University.

Tutoring Approach

I always tailor tutor sessions to the student's needs. I devote time in the first session to assessing their prefered learning style. I also take their individual needs into consideration in order to pitch their lessons at the right level. I am a really creative person and aspire to make learning interesting and inspirational and also challenging.
I provide high quality resources and advise on relevant revision resources and exam prep. I help students to develop exam technique and build their subject knowledge.I also coach them in how to provide exemplar written responses to exam questions.
Every student will develop the skills and ability to confidently succeed in their exams.
