Tutoring Experience

I am a passionate teacher and tutor having taught Psychology GCSE and A level for the last 15 years in secondary and further education. I have also been an AQA examiner for the last 5 years which has given me strong knowledge of exam expectations. I love helping students reach their full potential and helping them to achieve their goals!

Tutoring Approach

I am a friendly and dedicated psychology tutor, I offer online tuition on weekday evenings. I like to begin by working with you to get to grips with your strengths and areas of weakness in our first session. Once this is established we would revisit material you have covered in your lessons to make sure you have a clear understanding, (I do provide worksheets and resources to support this and focus on meeting your unique learning needs and style) I put a particular emphasis on evaluation as this is an area most students struggle and is vital to achieving well in exams, you would learn strong skills in this area. I do set some basic tasks in between sessions that help support our next lesson and I also mark and give feedback on your essays and exam papers during our sessions using my knowledge as an examiner.
