I have completed a PhD in Bioengineering at Imperial College London and I am now working as a Postdoctoral Research in Bionengineering at Imperial College London. I also have a Masters degree in Chemistry from Oxford University. I studied A-Levels in Chemistry, Maths and Statistics, ICT and Latin, and achieved A grades in each. I have good communication and written skills and am thorough and conscientious, always carrying out my work to the highest standards. I also enjoy reading, keeping fit, travelling, cooking and socialising.
I have extensive experience tutoring numerous students in GCSE Science and Maths. I also have experience tutoring students in A-Level Chemistry, A-Level Statistics and degree level Chemistry.
Initially I like to get to know a little about the student and how they work, as each student is different. This allows me to assess both the level they are working at and the best way to teach them. It is also an opportunity for the student to outline areas they would like particular help with and to check that we get on well. This allows me to establish a tutoring plan, in consultation with the student as appropriate. I prepare in advance for each tutorial and make sure that my knowledge of the curriculum is up-to-date. I am a patient, approachable person with a genuine interest in science and maths and enjoy sharing this with other students.
