Hi!. I am an undergraduate student studying Biochemistry at the Queen Mary University of London , with the goal of becoming a science teacher for secondary students. I am currently working alongside another professional tutoring company known as Latimer where I tutor several clients ranging from primary to college and have been rated 5 stars. The passion to work with younger children led me to start tutoring privately. I have extensive tutoring experience in various fields such as KS1, KS2, KS3, SAT, GCSE as well as AS/A levels. I assure my pupils are working hard towards their aspiring grades.

As a Grade 9 Science and Maths specialist, I have both practical and theory qualifications, in which I have achieved thorough distinctions for all my following theory examinations. I make sure all my pupils are comfortable and consistent with the content before starting past papers and setting them off to examinations. As an individual who has just finished sitting their A levels. I would like to pass on my tips and tricks for tackling exam questions as well as efficient techniques to revise hefty content. My support to you/your child does not stop in lessons, I provide extra resources and set homework to make sure the materials I tutor in lessons are practised consistently. I occasionally set exam papers outside lessons to provide both the student and parent with a true reflection of the topics.

I also help my teachers at Leyton Sixth Form College with teaching the students both AS and A level Biology and Chemistry. My mission is to ensure that every child exceeds and feels proud of their accomplishments.

Tutoring Experience

I am a passionate and extremely hard-working science tutor. With over five years of tutoring experience and outstanding grades at both GCSES and A levels:

A*, A, A for Psychology, Biology and Chemistry at A-Level.

7 grade 9s for Religious studies, English Language, English Literature, Urdu, Maths, Combined Science and History at GCSE level.

I am well-versed in all science-based subjects, particularly Chemistry and Biology. I not only teach AS/A-Level Biology and Chemistry, but I also tutor science-based courses to students of all ages and abilities!

Tutoring Approach

Clients and Parents will be in contact via Whatsapp. Lessons will be taken over Zoom or any other platform that the student would prefer to use and would generally be once a week. The lesson will be either for 1 hour or 2 hours depending on availability and the number of lessons the student wishes to have depending on their needs.

Before the lesson, the student and I would plan the lessons for that specific month and what we aim to go through such as mock revision or specific topics per lesson for the lessons to be as efficient as possible. At the beginning of the lesson, I go through the homework (usually exam questions or past papers) that was given in the previous lesson and discuss any ideas further or address the improvements and possible topics of improvement which would overall improve the student's performance and give them more exposure to exam-room setting

Moreover, my lessons comprise an in-depth teaching session, covering all necessary points of the relevant specifications, and then applying this knowledge with guided practice on how to ace answering exam questions. I prefer to utilise PowerPoint presentations, as well as live, written and diagrammatic explanations in explaining topics. Lessons are hard work however, I promise to cover all students' concerns and questions, whether this is with class/homework help or exam help and promises to make what seems difficult, extremely easy.
