I have three years worth of experience teaching the national curriculum, two years as an unqualified teacher, and one year as a qualified teacher.

Tutoring Approach

My approaches to reducing cognitive overload are underpinned by the concept of modelling and scaffolding. It is essential that students understand how to approach an assessment question before they attempt it on their own. I am able to showcase the many techniques and skills that students require to not only gain full marks on the GCSE examination, but also how to complete each question effectively within a timely manner. I am able to speak in various languages such as English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Pothwari to explain and de-construct complex concepts with students, without students worrying about not being able to access the learning due to a language barrier.
