I am a reliable, trustworthy person who works to the best of my ability to achieve my set goals and who will not allow minor obstacles to influence the level and the quality of the work I produce. With the teaching experience, I have gained the confidence to rise to any challenge and can work under guidance or take the initiative as appropriate. I am computer literate in a number of software packages including Word and Excel.
I pride myself in my teaching methods as I feel I have the ability to devise and deliver lessons tailored to ensure the students’ needs are met. This is primarily done by means of involving students in a “Question & Answers” session within each lesson. This method has always allowed me to assess the level of student understanding. In addition to this I always ensure each student provides feedback, allowing me to create an individual plan to use for student assessment.
One of my strongest attributes is that I am a good team player, and this has been critical in building sound working relationships with my colleagues. I also communicate effectively and build a good rapport with my students. I feel that this has stood me in good stead in the past as I have always built a good teacher-student relationship. This has always shown in the results obtained from those I have taught, creating a higher level of enthusiasm and a desire to achieve more.
I believe myself to be an organised individual and I make use of various techniques including planning and diarising key events to ensure I am fully prepared for every task. I strive to achieve a high level of competence, and work extremely hard to meet all the deadlines I am set.
