Hi there,
My name is Saam , a 2nd-year university student at Imperial College London currently studying Physics with Theoretical Physics(MSci). Maths and Physics are what I spend a lot of my time practicing, and I would love to help others that were in my position a few years ago become great at maths and physics for whatever future endeavors.
During college, as I was a further maths student we would teach the normal maths students during their second year to help them grasp any a-level maths concepts.
I will teach the way I found was the most effective for me, out of the several methods I've tried. I would like to go over the material thoroughly with the use of lots of diagrams and drawings to cement the more conceptually challenging parts of the course. I will write a set of notes as we go over the material which you will have access to for revision. Once we feel comfortable with the materials the most effective way to truly independently learn maths and physics, in my opinion, is by attempting a myriad of unique questions ranging from easier single-step solutions to understand the logical leaps. Then extend that further to more challenging complex questions which require the student to link together multiple concepts from the lesson. So essentially content then questions with live feedback and constructive help, making sure not to answer the question directly when a student is stuck but nudge them in the right direction so they can learn the correct logical steps. This is very important.
