I'm a friendly and considerate university student, currently studying for a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature, where I’m currently receiving First-Class honour marks in assessments, and predicted to graduate with a First-Class Honours Degree in my final year.

As someone who has struggled with their grades in the past, I understand how frustrating and helpless it feels when you aren’t being given the education you deserve. This is what inspired me into becoming a tutor, as I want to make sure people have someone who is knowledgeable of the subject, passionate about teaching, and patient when explaining confusing concepts – all of which I am.

Tutoring Experience

I have helped students with English Literature at both A level and University level. Given my high grades, when others have been struggling, I have volunteered to help with whatever they are struggling with, such as with SPAG, essay structuring, revision techniques, and broadening their critical thinking skills. I’m proud to say that all those I have helped have given back very positive feedback, inspiring me into going into tutoring more professionlly.

I am very confident with my knowledge of the key techniques that examiners look for when giving out high grades in exams and assessments, and hope to help more people get the high grades they are capable of getting (and you are ALL capable of getting the top grades)

Tutoring Approach

I always ensure that my sessions are fun and engaging, tailoring them differently to each person, as I know that we all learn and respond to teaching in different ways. I never want anyone to feel embarrassed that they don’t know something, because, at the end of the day, no one is born knowing everything. So, whatever you’re struggling with – whether it’s with terminology, textual analysis, essay writing, or something else entirely – our sessions will help equip you with the techniques and knowledge that required to get high level answers.
