I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, reading Classics. I have a passion for literature and language, and have a comprehensive knowledge of Latin at undergraduate level. I achieved 3 A*s at A-Level, including in English Literature and Classical Civilisation.

Tutoring Experience

I have tutored students up to GCSE level over the past 4 years, but also have experience as a tutee so know what it’s like to need the help of someone else to push you that little bit further to achieve your full potential. I use this experience to work out exactly what students need from our sessions.

Tutoring Approach

My main goal with tutoring is to help students to feel comfortable with studying, and to build a love for their subjects and learning that helps them beyond our sessions. This means supporting students on an individual basis with pre-planned lessons as well as revision sessions which cover more tricky topics. I take an interactive approach, finding out what methods work for each individual and using that to provide them with the skills and tools to continue our work beyond our sessions, as well as encouraging students to think for themselves.
