As a qualified science teacher with over five years of experience, I specialise in Biology, having taught AQA, OCR, and Edexcel exam boards. I offer personalised 121 and group lessons for all levels.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are dynamic and engaging, combining quizzes, interactive games, and exam practice. I use real-world examples and analogies to simplify complex biology concepts, ensuring students not only understand but also retain and apply their knowledge.

During the pandemic, I trained over 100 teachers across the North East in online learning tools, enhancing teaching in both virtual and in-person settings.

Tuition Options:
I offer 121 tuition either online or in person at Harrogate Library. My sessions are flexible, and I’ll adapt to your learning style, ensuring a supportive environment to master challenging topics. 121 Pricing: Off-Peak is £50/hour (Monday to Friday before 4PM), ideal for those with free periods at college or sixth form, while Peak is £60/hour (after 4PM on weekdays and weekends).

Group lessons are a fun, affordable way to learn with friends working towards the same qualification. Sessions include interactive activities, games, and a focus on exam techniques, fostering collaboration and confidence. Prices vary based on group size, with rates becoming more affordable as the group grows (e.g., £25/hour per student for 3 students, £20/hour per student for 4 students).
