I am a Scottish Operatic Tenor, living in London. I am offering online singing lessons at a very reduced rate because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

I have studied for many years and work professionally as a soloist in London, working with many companies, notably English National Opera.

Tutoring Experience

Passing on the knowledge of healthy vocal production and refined musicianship is a life-long passion of Ross’s.

Although he began giving lessons privately during his time at University, Ross’s first real taste of teaching was during the Summer of 2010. He moved to the island of Malta and began working exclusively with Drama Troupe (now SOPA).
This invaluable experience allowed him to realise his capabilities fully and he returned to the UK confident in his ability to teach children and adults of all ages.
Ross then taught privately in the Dundee area, successfully running his own studio for three years.

During that time he worked extensively with Dundee City Council and various schools and organisations. He has judged singing and musical theatre competitions both in Scotland and Malta and has been invited to give masterclasses accordingly.

His love of group singing has afforded him the opportunity to lead his own choir for many years.
He continues his teachings privately in London. All of his lessons are currently being taught online, over Skype or Zoom. This has proved just as valuable as face to face and allowed Ross to broaden the scope of his client base. Do not hesitate to get in touch today!

Tutoring Approach

Lesson can be tailored to every individuals’ needs.

Usually the first half of the lesson concentrates on technical exercises and the second half puts these practices into action by applying them to a piece of music.
