Ross

My name is Ross, I am an experienced psychology, sociology and science teacher who has been teaching for for 11 years in schools across Sussex. I am currently head of social sciences in my school and have strong knowledge of the AQA A Level psychology and sociology courses and of the OCR GCSE psychology course. I also have some knowledge of the OCR A level psychology course. I have taught AQA double science for the last 11 years and am comfortable supporting across all three disciplines up to GCSE level. I am experienced, personable and enthusiastic about my subjects and would be delighted to support students studying psychology, sociology or science.

Tutoring Experience

I have 11 years of teaching experience in schools in Sussex.
I am currently Head of Social Sciences at my school and have held this position for 8 years.
I teach AQA A Level psychology and sociology.
I teach OCR GCSE psychology.
I teach AQA GCSE science as well as students in KS3.
I also have been a year leader at my school's XI form and am able to support university and apprenticeship applications.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring is an an expert facilitator. We will work through difficult concepts and mis-conceptions through a variety of activities. There will be a big focus on assessment for learning and exam technique.
