Tutoring Experience

I have been tutoring for over six years, with all 5-star reviews on other platforms (reference available on request). I have experience teaching students of all ages and levels of ability. My students have gone on to receive high marks across the board, been accepted into private schools, and met conditions to go to university and college.

I love the opportunity tutoring gives me to go at a pace that suits my individual students, and ensure total understanding of the subject matter. I have an excellent grasp of the standard Scottish curriculum and have visited many different schools, seen the teaching techniques used in each and, as such, can adapt my methods to suit each students' preferred learning style.

Tutoring Approach

My lessons are personally tailored to be as accessible to my students as possible; with write-ups of covered material sent after each lesson, tinted whiteboards for improved readability, and help via email offered between bookings. I have experience tutoring students with ADHD, ASD, dyscalculia, dyslexia, and dyspraxia, all to great success.

I had such enthusiasm for maths throughout my own education and I try to pass that enthusiasm onto my students, and show them that the subject is far less intimidating than it may sometimes feel. If an individual is struggling, often all that's needed is a new perspective, and I hope that I can offer that.
