I am a full time, fully qualified teacher of English, with experience in the following:

KS3 English and History,
GCSE English Literature and GCSE English Language,
A Level English.

I hold QTS, a PGDE and am DBS checked.
I am available on weekday evenings online, or at weekends either in person or in a public place.

Home visits are an option after a few in-person meetings in a public place and with a parent/carer present in the home.

Please note that I cannot tutor pupils whom I teach, or have taught, through my current place of employment.

Tutoring Experience

I hold a BA degree from the University of Warwick in English Literature, and have QTS, a PGDE and am DBS checked.

I have worked in both the state and private sector, with particular experience in KS3 English, GCSE Literature and GCSE Language, and A Level English.

Tutoring Approach

I hold consultations with parents/carers in attendance in the first instance, where we can identify gaps in knowledge, areas for development and discuss goals for your child. I can then proceed to provide tailored tutoring catered towards your child's specific needs and aspirations.
