Hi I am from China, which makes people think I know math and mandarin, and of course English too. I love math and language, and love teaching too!

Tutoring Experience

I have been a university teacher for more than 20 years, while I have also been a tutor in both math and mandarin at GCSE level since Covid started, during which I homeschooled my son. My son is currently studying GCSE courses at Bootham school in York, so I have lots of first hand experience and material for it too.

Tutoring Approach

I teach at the pace you are comfortable with. We will break the task up into little bits and start with building a solid foundation. My class is with little stress but you will see progress after each session. Learning is fun and I will show you the beauty of it as we progress!
