I am a qualified and experienced teacher of Mandarin Chinese, I have General Teaching Council Scotland (GTCS) registration Certificate, I also teach English Essay Writing. I have taught Master degree students at University of strathclyde UK Mandarin Chinese and Essay writing in English for more than 20 years, I am very experienced and confident teaching overseas students English language and Essay Writing. I also teach how to play Chinese Musical instrument, Pipa. I am in touch with my students all over the world. The pipa is one of the oldest of traditional Chinese musical stringed instruments. It has beautiful shape and sound, either played solo or with other musical instruments. I have played for the Manchester Festival and the Halle Orchestra as well as the Scottish music group, Whistlebinkie Team on many occasions. I have been to many Scottish Schools for Chinese New Year workshops and demonstrations. I have written two books in Chinese published in Taiwan and translated Ann Treherne's book into Chinese which is very popular.

Tutoring Experience

I was born in Harbin China where most Chinese Radio and TV presenters come from with very accurate and standard Chinese language pronunciation and intonation. I Have been teaching Mandarin language as Business Language at Strathclyde University for many years. i also do on-line teaching. I have good and useful experiences on teaching Mandarin Chinese.

Tutoring Approach

I have gained valuable experiences from my 20 years teaching carer to the overseas students to learn Essay Writing skills and techniques.I also introduce language and writing skills through music and musical activities. Learners love to put hands on the musical instrument and learn a new language. Musical is the divine way to express the beautiful things to heart and essay writing skills and technique can be learned via fantastic sounds of musical instrument Pipa playing, which creates memorable learning experience. Learners like to learn a new language in a fun way.
