I am a maths student at Edinburgh University, with an interest in going into academia. Outside of tutoring and studying, I am a keen reader and I play tennis and run regularly. I am a qualified member of Mensa: The High IQ society, and I speak fluent English and Spanish.

Tutoring Experience

I love teaching maths using my good knowledge of the subject. I am an experienced maths tutor at a Higher, GCSE and P7 level. My recent Higher Maths tutee achieved an A grade in his exam. I also helped prepare an S2 pupil for his end of year maths, physics and chemistry exams. Last year I helped prepare two P7 pupils for high schools maths and two S5 students for their Higher Maths and Physics exams - both achieving good grades - and tutored GCSE Maths online and in-person.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style involves asking lots of questions, giving clear explanations, and my style adapts to suit how my tutee learns best. I like to offer my tutees advice with regards to studying strategies and maintaining a growth mindset towards improving at maths.
