Ron is very persistent in making sure that the student actually understands the content and not just shrugging it off hoping that the student has grasped the knowledge! I feel that this trait is an excellent one to possess and by I think it is highly envied by others because I believe it's easy for a teacher to take the convenient route when a student is not understanding and to only ask "You sure you understand?" once but then turn a blind eye hoping the student has absorbed 100 percent of the content. However, Ron is the opposite; he always tells me at the beginning of the lesson that: (I am paraphrasing) “This is not like a classroom so you don’t have to “lie” about understanding something”. Which shows me that Ron is willing to answer questions no matter how naive they may sound and will be determined to keep explaining until the “penny drops” for the student!!! Thank you, Kang :))

Ron has been teaching our daughter Chemistry (GCSE) for the last 6 months on a weekly basis. This would have continued until June were it not for the exams being cancelled this year. Before she started having Ron as a tutor she had little confidence in the subject. She has always been keen to attend Ron's lessons and is now thinking of Chemistry as a possible A level subject. Ron has also helped her with areas of Physics and Biology. After each lesson, Ron sends through the content covered and previous exam questions. He is an enthusiastic and approachable tutor and we would not hesitate to recommend him.

Excellent tutor. Very knowledgeable, confident tutor who has quickly earned the respect of our daughter with his ability to develop her confidence in the subjects (all three sciences) due to his approach to imparting his knowledge in an understandable way. Very approachable and helpful even taking time after the lessons to send written notes and updates and links to past papers etc. Would highly recommend Ron.

After sitting my A level biology first time round and getting a grade I wasnt happy with, I thought it was best to find a private tutor. I read Rons good reviews and very quickly after requesting began lessons with himself. Ron managed to find out areas I was struggling with and covered every aspect in such a short time. He made sure I was confident in what I had learnt before I left. My grade boosted this time round and couldnt have done it without his help!

Ron is a patient, fun tutor who uses different teaching methods to suit the pupil. My daughter loved her sessions, enjoyed learning and was inspired to complete further work on her own (not a usual situation). I would highly recommend Ron.

Ron is a friendly, knowledgeable and flexible tutor. He identified my key problem areas and worked with me in an organised fashion that suited my learning needs. With Ron's help not only were my final results raised by 3 grades but my interest in the subject grew - due to the fun and interesting lessons! I would highly recommend Ron for tutoring at any level.
