Roger is currently tutoring our daughter in Maths in advance of her forthcoming GCSEs. Roger has made a huge difference already in the space of around 3 months, with her receiving much improved grades and growing in confidence on a weekly basis. Roger is patient, encouraging, kind and methodical, and has made a good grade in Maths feel not only possible, but likely for our daughter, who had lost faith in herself over the past couple of years. Can't recommend him more highly.

We are delighted to have Roger tutoring our 14 YO son. He really enjoys the lessons and gets so much out of them and has made huge progress with his maths and sciences. We hope in time that our younger son will also have lessons with Roger.

Roger is an amazing tutor. He has supported my son with a difficult transition from Covid impacted Secondary school where subjects were half-taught into high demanding times of A-levels at an independent school. In both, general studying organizational matters and subject matters, where Roger has proven himself as truly multi-disciplinarian. My son had tuition in Chemistry, Physics and still continuing with Maths. There were multiple times when Roger came to rescue with extra tuition time and support around exams. Highly recommended. Roger is a very knowledgeable and caring tutor, he puts in a lot of effort and detail to help you understand hard concepts very well!

Due to Covid , my 16 year old school has not been able to return to his school abroad to start his A- Levels.
Dr Roger is doing an amazing job teaching him maths, physics and chemistry, managing to keep him on a par with his peers.
Because of his broad knowledge base and long teaching experience, he is able to make his classes very engaging and easy to understand. His approach is to explain why rather than focusing on just memorising facts. In maths he knows lots of helpful tricks and shortcuts that you would not find in a textbook.
He is kind and patient in his approach and always willing to go over areas again until they are fully understood without making my son feel stupid.
I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Roger is an inspirational tutor, we are lucky to have found him. Roger is very passionate and knowledgeable about maths, he has found a way to teach Toby in an understanding and positive way. Toby believes he can and will achieve an ‘A’ in his A level next year. Toby has been motivated and is enjoying maths again, he is now applying to do an accounting and finance degree.

Roger is an inspirational tutor who engaged my son in conversations beyond the A Level syllabus sharing his passion for Biology and promoting curiosity and further independent study. Excellent revision notes were provided. My son is going on to study Zoology at university.

Unfortunately he is so popular we could only manage a few sessions but he has managed to highlight the areas that Oliver needs to work on with his tutors at school.

Very good tuition for my daughter studying GCSE maths and Roger has a great understanding of the areas she needs to improve - the tuition feels very focused and supportive. There is definite improvement in my daughter's understanding, confidence and enjoyment of the subject, and her results are improving.

We are very happy with the progress Jess is making under your tutelage. You are very flexible and patient and it really helps that you are able to cover all three of her A level subjects not just Chemistry. The work you did with her on Friday really helped her in her mock Maths exam today and I think generally you are finding the holes in her knowledge across the subjects and filling the **Web Address Removed** helps that you are happy to consolidate the work she does at school. I often read tutor profiles and school websites and wonder about whether the writers genuinely mean what they say. Roger says he believes in developing the self-esteem of his pupils, and their self belief in what they can achieve. This is true. It is what we most wanted for our son, when our own efforts no longer seemed adequate. Roger has done a great job of restoring our son’s confidence when it had hit an all-time low. Roger also says he loves to teach – he undoubtedly does! He is a passionately enthusiastic teacher who never wants to stop at the end of a session, and his enthusiasm for his subjects is infectious and is just what our son needed.

Roger is an excellent tutor, who rapidly built a positive and encouraging working relationship with my son. We were looking for a tutor who could help with accelerated learning of Maths A Level material. Roger took up the challenge and proved to be extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Roger, was a great help with my brothers they both came out feeling more confident about approaching exams. He managed to help both brothers in various aspects, and I highly recommend him.

Very happy with the progress Ryan has made over the past few months. His grades have improved, he has been moved into the top class for maths at school and his attitude towards maths has changed from finding the subject intimidating to feeling a lot more confident. Ryan has a much better appreciation of how to tackle the questions and lay out his answers so that his approach to tests is more targeted and considered. Roger is an excellent tutor. He has been helping my daughter (15, doing GCSE's) in Spanish and the sciences. He is very patient, knowledgeable and helpful. There seems to be no end to what he can do and teach. Her Spanish has really improved and he has been helping her with science topics she is not sure about. He comes to our house which is a real bonus.

I couldn't find a better tutor for my son , a tutor that is able to combine all the knowledge in such a fun way. I was looking for support with Maths and Physics but we got so much more. My son is more and more interested in other sciences as well .I don't know what he will decide to be when he gets older but one thing I am sure, with Roger on our side the sky is the limit. I am very grateful for all the help we receive from him and I can feel that a lot of pressure is lifted from my shoulders. We thank you so much Roger.

Roger has helped my daughter rediscover her appetite for learning after a very disruptive educational period at her school. The results are still to come but she has regained her confidence that she will achieve her A-level exam grades that she needs.

Roger has been providing tutoring for my Son covering A'level Maths and Chemistry. I would not hesitate recommending Roger as a Tutor, this is the first time I have seen my son engaged in what he is learning and on chatting with him this is the first time he has actually understood what he is being taught and is enjoying it. Roger sets a clear plan and is constantly checking understanding with structured homework outside the tutor session. We have successfully met up and my twin daughters found the session very useful. Roger has a great approach and they feel confident that he will be able to provide them useful support in the year leading up to their iGCSEs.

Roger has been working with my daughters for a few sessions now and he has helped to build their confidence and understanding in maths in preparation for their maths GCSE. He has identified where they have had gaps in their learning and through great explanation and practise they are becoming much more competent. I hear a good deal of comments such as 'Oh, I get it now! Just shows what good teaching can do!

Roger is an excellent tutor, and we are very pleased indeed with the impact he's had on our children's progress in maths. They have both made demonstrable and significant progress in the time since Roger has been tutoring them, and are beginning to perform consistently to their potential. The sessions are enjoyable and well-paced. Roger is also excellent at providing feedback to the children and to us as parents, and engages very positively with the school curriculum. The amount of additional work is also well-judged. We feel very confident with the approach he's taking - helping the children engage positively with maths, think more broadly, and develop a wide range of skills and techniques. Overall, very happy.

Cannot recommend enough. My 15 yr old just was unable to concentrate and focus on his subjects . Roger has a unique ability to teach his pupils to focus and absorb . My son went from strength to strength in a matter of weeks . I am sure without him his gcse grades would have been very poor.
