I am Language Studies graduate in Translation and Interpreting, with an MSc in Teaching and who obtained QTS in February 2016. I am a loyal, talented and caring person who loves making a difference into the lives of children and teenagers by making learning languages an interactive and fun experience.
I've been teaching Spanish up to A level in the UK since 2016 and am currently working as Head of Department at a State school in Surrey. Nonetheless, I haven't forgotten my roots and teaching English as a Foreign Language is still one of my passions.
Having studied Translation at University, I developed a liking for proofreading texts and marking, which made me become a GCSE (Cambridge and Edexcel) and IB examiner, which helped me get to know most exam boards in the UK from inside.
I believe learning languages should be an interactive and fun experience where the learner not only absorbs the language but also finds him/herself enjoying the culture and learning about it. You cannot understand a language without its cultural background and having fun only makes the process more enjoyable and interactive.
