Thanks for your interest in my tutoring services and for taking the time to visit my profile.

I am an experienced Senior Business Development Manager, and First Class Honours graduate (Business & Maths Joint BA) who started supporting young people with their education in 2014. I have worked with 70+ Year 10 and 11 students in my time having tutored in Potters Bar, Hatfield, Hertford and the surrounding areas.

Tutoring Experience

Having provided tutoring services for a number of years, I have developed a good network of students within my local area, encompassing a wide range of abilities. I have worked within AQA, Edexcel and iGCSE formats, successfully preparing students for their studies and exams, with excellent results.

I also have proved successful working with students at the beginning of their secondary education, focusing on complementing their school based learning to ensure that they have a solid foundation in Mathematics and the Sciences to enable them to achieve highly throughout their schooling, providing a solid platform when they begin Year 10. Many of the parents that I work with are unable to afford a private education, opting for additional tuition as an alternative.

Tutoring Approach

I have a great success rate using differentiated teaching resources, including web based applications, and am able to adapt my approach depending on the level and confidence of the student. I am passionate about my subject and aim to make lessons interesting and interactive, with a particular focus being on the development of an understanding of the basic concepts.

My experience enables me to engage with my students to ensure that they not only improve in their chosen field of study, but also helps them to develop the confidence, understanding and attitude to achieving highly across the spectrum of their education.
