I am an enthusiastic science teacher who takes pride in his ability to build a great rapport with his students and makes learning fun and engaging.
I have been teaching all sciences up to GCSE for 10 years and specialise in Biology.
I am well versed in teaching children of different ages and adapting lesson material to the students' needs. In my current role as Lead Practitioner, I am responsible for boosting achievement and ensuring that pupils progress towards academic excellence. This role has allowed me to develop a deep sense of personal accountability for the students I teach, which is a skill that I apply to the students I tutor outside of school.
My tutoring approach is one highlighted by the needs of the student. Adaptability and flexibility in response to the strengths and weaknesses of the pupil is paramount to lasting progress.
This coupled with effective preparation during lessons ensure that the student is confident in their subject.
