Richard

I have lived in 3 countries. France, Germany and Spain.
I speak fluent French and German. I lived in France and
Germany for over 20 years. I studied French and History at Sheffield University.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught for almost 30 years. I taught EFL in summer schools in the UK from 1995 to 2006. I was a secondary French and German teacher from 1998 to 2004 in the UK. I am QTS. I taught Business English to adults in France and Germany for 20 years.

Tutoring Approach

I am firm but fair. I am very organised and client/child centered. I am very experienced and will do a structured programme which I will work through. The client will bring essays/Exam work their course book and we will work at going through and improving their weak points. There will be regular exam practice so that they get used to the types of questions and doing it under timed pressure and feedback to check from them to see if we have achieved our client goals. I am very flexible and if the person wants to also do different practice we will do so.
