We’ve only had a few sessions with Richard but he’s already help my son gain confidence in his organic chemistry. He’s well prepared, keeps us in the loop with what has been covered, and his offer to help with questions between sessions is much appreciated.

I've been studying AQA A-Level Chemistry with Richard for a few months now and can highly recommend him to anyone who would like to achieve better grades or just want a deeper understanding of the subject in general. Communication has always been great and he is very patient when going through difficult topics. The way he explains abstract concepts is straightforward and clear. All in all just great!

Richard’s approach as a tutor has been superb, always professional, tailoring the tutorials to my daughters needs, linked to her course.

He is a great believer in individuals enjoying what they learn and encourages that enthusiasm to learn. He clearly achieves this in each tutorial, my daughters confidence and her understanding of chemistry has grown, she is enjoying the subject again rather than it being a topic to fear.

Richard has recommended text books, provides materials and questions for her to look at in between sessions which has also made a difference, all linked with her syllabus.

Although the tutorials are 1:1 Richard also keeps in touch with me as a parent, briefly messaging me after sessions. I am grateful we found him, my daughter’s comment ‘more than happy to recommend him as a tutor’.

Early days (on week 4) but happy to report sessions with Richard have been engaging, professional and helpful. He has also sent through lots of supportive resource too.

Richard tutored my daughter in her final year of A level Chemistry and we couldn’t rate the experience highly enough. He was very engaging and really helped to support her understanding of what she had been taught in school and helped to plug any knowledge gaps. Her teachers could see the real improvements she was able to make. With his help she is now off to University having attained excellent results - thanks Richard!

Richard was fantastic assisting my daughter with A2 Chemistry (June 19). Nothing was too much trouble. He has extensive knowledge of subject area, exam content & questions. Richard broke down problematic questions to enable my daughter to work it out. He was extremely encouraging and contactable outside of tuition time, which undertaken online and worked extremely well.
Thank you Richard she was the only one to get an A* in Chemistry in her year group.

Richard made contact immediately and arranged convenient appointment to our needs. First session went well and our daughter found it most helpful and is looking forward to the next lesson

Richard is currently supporting our daughter with her A level Chemistry and after just a few sessions she is already starting to feel so much more confident. My daughter really finds the sessions helpful and fun

I have been with Richard since January up until this week as I was resitting my AS and A2 chemistry. In the few months I spent with Richard I feel I learned more than I did throughout my entire 2 years at college. Richard was very helpful and took time to go through anything i was struggling with. As a result of this I went into my exams with a great deal of confidence.

Very happy we invested in tuition with Richard. He has an excellent knowledge of his subject and has quickly identified the areas my son most needed help, on top of which he's made the lessons enjoyable to attend.

Dr has been a great help to me. He is a very good and knowledgeable tutor, unfortunately I am unable to visit him on a regular basis due to distance involved and cost. However would highly recommend him. His teaching methods are excellent and I'm very pleased with the way he explains everything and makes me understand the subject.

Richard has been extremely helpful to my son who is currently studying A level chemistry. My son feels very comfortable and at ease with Richard and I can most definitely recommend him.

Richard has been a great help for my sister. He helped her for Chemistry about 2-3 weeks before her exam. She was much more confident about going into the exam as Richard has fully explained every Chemistry terminology and theory throughly. I will definitely recommend Richard to everybody else.

Richard is an excellent tutor as he explains topics at a speed to suit the learner and he's never late. Helping me answer exam papers is very useful as there isn't enough time in my courses to cover past papers.
