My name is Riccardo Mura and i'm 35 years old. I'm Italian and I've been living in London since October 2012.
I just graduated at The London Music School in Hackney with merit.
I'm a grade 8 in electric guitar at the rockschool passed with distinction.

Tutoring Experience

I've been teaching privately since more than 8 years, and i'm currently teaching for the London music centre.
I used to teach part-time students at the London Music School in Hackney.

Tutoring Approach

To me is very important the understanding of the music theory, chords, scales, in order to be able to understand how the music works and how beautiful this instrument can be.

Harmony and theory, Different techniques, Rhythms, sight-reading, guitar sound, are some of the arguments that i like to explore with my students.

How to solo over various chord progressions is by far the topic that i enjoy the most while teaching, because, when it comes to playing guitar, i strongly believe that it's one of the most important subjects that everyone needs to be comfortable with.

My lessons are always pre-planned according the students needs and requests, and i like to create a comfortable situation with no pressure to make sure the students happy while they're studying and playing the instruments.
