I am in my 30s and live in Dorset with my husband, son and black Labrador. I love to travel and have spent a considerable amount of time in France. I love to cook and bake and spend most of my free time in the kitchen. Long walks are a great hobby of mine, particularly by the sea.
I have 10 years of classroom teaching experience in 2 different secondary schools in which I achieved successful outcomes for my exam students. I also work with trainee language teachers from Exeter University as part of their Secondary MFL PGCE.
I have a very positive, flexible approach to teaching and like to adapt to learners’ preferred learning styles. I believe in encouragement and helping learners to develop a positive mindset. Revisiting topics and building a language toolkit are essential to successful learning.
