Graduate Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London. I play tennis nationally and internationally, having done so from a young age which helps me to relate to students from athletic backgrounds. I independently completed GCSE and A-Level Mathematics two years early during secondary school and achieved A*s, this allowed me to grasp a fuller concept of Mathematics and translates to being able to communicate concepts more effectively. I’ve always studied in London so can easily relate to my students and quickly identify the best method of teaching.
I have been tutoring for the past 6 years. I love to teach, seeing someone evolve and getting to their objectives is a great experience. The students I have taught have all achieved the highest grades in their subjects at GCSE level. I am familiar with new courses and specifications. Typically students have gaps in their knowledge that are stunting their progress; I can take them through the syllabus and help them to fulfil their maximum potential.
The main objectives of the sessions are to identify the student's weaknesses, teach the fundamentals for the topic and then gradually approach the most difficult concepts and questions for that particular topic.
The advantage of tutoring over being taught in a class is that the tutor is able to tailor work according to the student's ability and attainment. Typically students have gaps in their knowledge which are holding them back from progressing. I will fill in these gaps in knowledge take my student through the syllabus and allow them to achieve the highest grade that is possible for them. I am 100% confident in my tutoring abilities and believe I can help anyone achieve the highest grade they can if they are willing.
