Raul's Feedback

Raul is an excellent tutor and we highly recommend him. My son found him to be incredibly knowledgeable, really great at explaining concepts in any detail required and just really nice too. From feeling overwhelmed by Physics A-level my son regained confidence again in only a couple of months. We wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

Raul is very good at helping you visualize key concepts. We also use an online whiteboard to solve problems, which has helped me use notes beyond lesson time. Raul is very good at maths; he quickly gets what you're asking and helps accordingly.

I would highly recommend Raul to anyone studying undergraduate mathematics.

He is a very friendly guy who is great at explaining challenging topics in detail.

Where needed, he has helped me to consolidate the basic understandings and visualise the motivation behind these complicated topics.

He very quickly managed to recall much about differential equations, analysis and even differential Geometry and prepared lessons in advance to make sure he had a good approach to the hour session.

I have been working with Raul now for a few weeks to improve my understanding of my undergraduate physics degree "mathematical methods 3" module. He is very knowledgeable and great at answering and explaining any questions I have. I have learnt more from him than the actual lectures themselves!

Raul is professional, has very good knowledge and can tailor the content well. My daughter looks forward to the sessions as she feels both supported in consolidating her knowledge and stretched by new content. She studies maths and physics and particularly likes having multiple ways to solve problems, Raul adapts to her needs very well

I found Raul extremely helpful in our first meeting. However, I only managed to have one session with him, despite us agreeing to more prior to our first meeting. It was a shame

Absolutely brilliant tutor! Its awe inspiring the sheer depths and range of knowledge Raul has withine mathematics. I was struggling really bad with the mathematical aspects of my degree. Raul through patience, passion, and an immense desire to help, asisted me through first year, leading to me passing when there was no hope. He's so easy going which I have found sets a nice tone and atmosphere for doing mathematics.

Honestly there's no problem or field which I came to him with he wasn't able to help me understand and solve, i can be so full of nerves and panic so easily so you can imagine what a wonderful job he has done with me. I couldn't recommend him enough, trust me you're making the right choice with this tutor.
The only thing I'm frustrated about is that I never found him sooner! So if you're looking for someone who loves what they do, thorough Mathematical knowledge and cares about your progress you have found him.

First class. Really relates to both my sons, who are A-level and Further Maths A-level students, and positivity shines through. Highly recommended.

I don’t know what feedback to leave here, we didn’t had a lesson as we agreed on the wrong syllabus initially

My son was really pleased with the way Raul worked with him.
He made things click into place.

My 20 year old autistic son failed some of his Year 2 modules (taken in May 2020) in Physics. The pass mark on the modules was 40 and he got 26 on one module and 7 on the other one. After tutoring from Raul, his resit marks in August 2020 jumped to 56 and 68 respectively and he is now able to progress into Year 3.
I was very fortunate in coming across Raul on this website and he tutored my son at very short notice over a period of 10 days just before his resits. I felt that Raul truly engaged with my son and worked at a pace that was challenging but comfortable for him. As a result my sons confidence went up and his anxieties lessened and I cannot thank Raul enough.

Amazing tutor he helped me with my 2nd year engineering maths, I recommend him for all uni students :-)

Raúl was a very good tutor. He explained concepts clearly that I couldn’t understand before, breaking them down from prior principles which allowed me to know what was going on. He offered to answer any further questions I had about the problems, I’d recommend him 100%.

Raul has been from the start an excellent tutor, and great motivator, with huge enthusiasm to support, although my initial feedback was somehow negative, due to miscommunication issues.
The problem I approached Raul with, is not an easy one, but he put in the hours trying to find answers and solutions.
I'd definitely recommend Raul to anyone who needs help with mathematics.
