I am Ranj and I have been teaching for almost 25 years on a one-to-one basis.

I am very enthusiastic about teaching and ensuring all my students succeed no matter what their ability.

My first step towards a new student would be to understand his/her uniqueness in order to determine their strengths and weaknesses and then strengthen their current knowledge. I use different styles of teaching methods, depending on the student's ability.

My main method is to listen and observe the difficulties experienced by the student for a particular subject in order to put solutions in place.

Additionally, I look at the current progress the student(by reviewing their reports and assigning assessment papers during lessons) for them to achieve their best.

My students have been offered a place at Camp Hill,Five Ways, Handsworth Grammar and KES (King Edwards School). Some students have been offered scholarships at High Edgbaston School and KES.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught many students with different abilities and taught at different levels (especially those students taken their 11 plus exams, as they all have achieved a place in their preferred grammar school) I have so far given my best to my students to reach their academic goals. I hope to do the same in the future.
I have gained experience in private home tuition in which my students have succeeded in achieving the best possible grades (especially 11 plus exams and entrance exams for Independent School Admissions).

Subjects taught for private tuition include:
- Key Stage 1 - (All core subjects)
- Key Stage 2 (All core subjects)
- 11 Plus (English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non Verbal Reasoning)
- Entrance exams for Independent Schools

Tutoring Approach

I currently hold a valid CRB certificate.
I set examinations using past exam papers from previous years so that their performance can be measured on a regular basis.
