I am a recent English Literature graduate from the University Of Liverpool ( a Russell group university) with a love of all things English! Currently, I am a teachers assistant with a love of tutoring and seeing others progress! I hold a fully enhanced DBS and am open to showing that to those who book me. I teach English Literature at ALL levels and English language up to GCSE level. However, I am also open to teaching A-level and GCSE History as I achieved a grade A in both, and am familiar with the new specification. I have a passion for helping others, I read proficiently, and enjoy making others laugh!

Tutoring Experience

I have one years tutoring experience where I tutored English Literature to students of all abilities, including SEN children. However, I also have experience in the classroom environment where I supported those of all ages and abilities , including young. I have a lot of experience in essay writing, analysing poetry, classical literature, and modern literature as I completed vast amounts of essays during my degree, which achieved top marks. I understand that people work in different ways and I aim to support students by helping them to identify and learn through ways in which suit them. I understand the importance of building up a rapport with my students and the importance of building their confidence.

Tutoring Approach

I have a modern approach to teaching as I am quite young myself. I am patient and humorous, but also firm and fair when I need to be. I often create lovely quizzes for my students and come up with many creative ways to teach/ test students learning, whether that be by flashcards, my own mock tests, or by association techniques.
