Fun 35 year old fully qualified primary teacher (ages 5-11). I am willing to tutor at the students home or my own and will travel up to 15 miles. I have recently finished 15 years teaching year 6 the necessary requirements to pass their SATs, I did this in a fun, colourful and interactive way using resources and games. I am a very caring teacher and will strive to ensure all children achieve their full potential and ability with the necessary guided help.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a qualified primary school teacher for eight years working within the Sheffield, Darlington, Stockton, Middlesbrough and Catterick area. I have recently completed my fifteenth year working in a very challenging year 6 class. Within this year I have worked very hard ensuring the children are able to achieve their predicted grades and obtain the best SATs results possible for their ability.

Tutoring Approach

I will ensure that learning is completed in a fun, practical and interactive way. This will enable the pupil to achieve their full potential in learning. In order for this to happen I will make judgements on what the child already knows and what the child needs to know to progree their learning further.
