I am currently employed as an English and Drama teacher, as well as Subject Leader in PSHE, at The Royal Grammar School in High Wycombe, but I live in Woodstock, Oxfordshire. I have been teaching for the last 20 years in Oxfordshire and Yorkshire.
I have taught through key stage 3, 4 and 5 in Drama, English and Media. I specialise in GCSE Language and Literature and A level Literature.
I currently provide private tutoring for sis students from year 9-13 in English Literarure and Language.

I have successfully worked with several students who do not, or cannot attend a mainstream pathway. Specific needs can be discussed.
I aim to give students the confidence to approach their exams and controlled assessments fully prepared through skills based teaching and independent learning. Approaching texts, questioning writer's intentions and forming analysis as well as nurturing a creative and imaginative approach to their own writing.
I will fully prepare and tailor sessions to the individual student's needs after an initial consultation where these will be ascertained.
Prices are £60 an hour which includes tailored planning and preparation, teaching time, marking feedback, and a monthly report on progress.
