I have just finished my Second year of Biochemistry at King's College London and hope to cocninue my studies after graduationn and have a career in academics.

Tutoring Experience

I used to tutor GCSE level and below science whilst I was at school, for 2 years. I was a “science leader” which was teaching science in a local primary school. I am a personal asistant for a disabled child, leading engaging activites and I was a Young Leader for a Girl Guide group for several years, which gave me skills working with children.

Tutoring Approach

During A levels, I initially hadn’t figured out how to piece information together to create a whole picture. I memorised things instead of understanding them and the concepts. Which is not the best way to learn.
I changed the way I ingested the information, which is unltimatley what has supported by academic succes so far, especially in university, and I wish I had someone to explain to me how to understand the core concepts of biology and chemistry. I hope to be that person for students.
