With a long background of living and teaching in France, I offer one-to-one French tuition to GCSE, A Level and mature students. Cheerful and patient, my lessons give students that extra knowledge and confidence they need to pass their exams and pursue their courses.
My experience of teaching English in France instilled in me a love of French and French culture. It was there, tutoring non-English speakers, that I really began to learn the skills necessary to structure lessons and encourage pupils. I being this experience to bear on all my lessons, knowing the challenges of learning a foreign language on both sides of the Channel!
Studying for exams can be stressful and worrying. Familiar as I am with the curriculum and its requirements, I bring my own personal focus and enthusiasm to pronunciation and day to day French. In short: I make my lessons as enjoyable and rewarding as possible, while also tailoring them to the needs of the individual student.
