Piers

I teach Mathematics and Physics from Key Stage 3 through to GCSE, IGCSE and A level, across all the major examination boards. I also teach Further Mathematics at A-level, specialising in Pure and Mechanics. I support preparation in Maths/Physics Challenges, MAT, PAT and STEP. I have been an Oxbridge tutor and co-ordinator since 1993 (supporting UCAS applications, entrance examinations, interviews and personal statements).
I also design and build educational robots.

Tutoring Experience

Qualified and experienced teacher of Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics, with nearly 30 years of experience teaching in local secondary, public and private schools. I am now tutoring full time online.

Tutoring Approach

I am currently tutoring one Year 8 student, one Year 9 student, one Year 10 student (Physics), five Year 11 students, three Year 12 students and one university student (Engineering). For all students I use a graphics tablet and One Note and combine the use of textbooks, examination materials and online resources.
