I specialise in A Level Physics primarily AQA, but also all other Boards. I also teach all A Level Maths subjects. I have been a Maths and Physics tutor for about 20 years. I focus on fundamental topics which students often find difficult and tailor this to my predictions of question types that may appear in the examinations. I adapt my style to the requirements of each student, but usually build lessons around past exam papers as this is an excellent method for keeping teaching of topics current. This produces very good results and most students find it very effective. In terms of support, I may set work to be done during the week and I respond to questions at any time via text/WhatsApp etc. I have degrees in Pure Mathematics and Engineering Physics.

Tutoring Experience

My experience ranges from 11+ and KS2 up to degree level engineering and maths. I specialise in the A Level Physics specifications. I have worked as a college lecturer and held various managerial positions in industry involving the solution of complex engineering and mathematical problems. I am currently semi-retired and also take on occasional consultancy work in engineering and IT.
