I am a retired teacher, having been a maths teacher for the last 8 years of my career. I live in Wimborne and I am available to tutor in and around the area in person.

Tutoring Experience

I have been privately tutoring maths for the past 14 years. I normally help students at GCSE and A levels. Initially, I relied on 'word of mouth' and a few shop window adverts but since 2016 (having retired from full time work) I've also been picking up extra work via this web site. I have also been successfully teaching online via Zoom if that's your preference.

Tutoring Approach

I aim to put the student at ease and make the tutorial as enjoyable as possible. I work on what they find particularly challenging and aim to build up their confidence.
