Pavel

I'm 37 years old. I was born in the City of Ostrava, which is the 3rd largest city in the Czech republic. I studied Psychology at the University of Palacky in Olomouc, and after finishing my studies, I worked as a Psychologist in an Educational institute for more than 2 years. Part of the role was leading group activities with children and teenagers with behavioral and emotional problems.

Tutoring Experience

For more than 2 years I was leading group activities with children and teenagers with behavioural and emotional problems when I worked as a Psychologist. After I finished my 120-hour TEFL course in August I started teaching online.

Recently I enrolled for a 40-hour online teaching course to enhance my skills as an online teacher. I've also passed online English teaching practicum, where I learnt a lot about how to use ZOOM for teaching groups or individuals efficiently.

Tutoring Approach

I follow the before-during-after lesson plan when teaching individual student and PPP or skill lesson plan when teaching a group. I apply playfull and supportive approach with a lot of student talking time.
