Hi, I'm Paul and I have been teaching History for over 20 years!
I am an experienced examiner for several exam boards at GCSE and a level. I moderate coursework for exam boards as well. I know that I can help you achieve your potential and realise your goals.
I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have been a Head of History and Head of Humanities for a large part of that time. I have taught the AQA, OCR, Edexcel and IGCSE at GCSE level but I am very familiar with every other exam board. I have taught A level for the last 5 Years and I am very familiar with the Edexecel, Aqa and OCR specs, but I can tutor all the other boards.
I also have experience of working for exam boards such as Edexcel marking and moderating the GCSE History exams each year and tutoring pupils at Easter Revision schools
I believe in equipping pupils for the exam by focussing on the exam paper and mark scheme and helping pupils to understand what the examiner is asking them to do. I am an advocate in getting pupils to learn by making it interesting and tailoring it to pupils individual learning style.
