Patrick

Hello, I'm Patrick. I am an undergraduate at Oxford university and have just finished my penultimate year of study in Engineering Science. I achieved straight A*'s in my A Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry. Taking these exams in 2021 I have experience with very up to date syllabi, even more so after helping my brothers through their own exams.

Tutoring Experience

When I was in year 12, I helped out in a program to teach Maths and English to struggling year 7's. Having two younger brothers, I have helped them throughout their time at school, with one brother now at university - overperforming on his Maths and Science GCSEs - and the other sitting his GCSEs next year.

Tutoring Approach

Taking on only a few students at any given time allows for a very personalised approach to be taken. The areas students struggle with the most can be focused on, with practice question sourced from past papers, textbooks etc being used to test understanding and identify weaknesses.

Lessons would be 1-2 hours, with a small amount of homework often being given. These lessons could involve answering questions, explaining concepts, going over a test the student took at school and more.
