I am currently teaching in a High School in Falkirk. I tutor business management up to higher level.
I have been teaching for 20 years and have been marking the external Higher Business Management exam for the SQA for the last 16 years and SQA marking team leader for the last 6. I have tutored previously and the tutees passed with much improved marks.
I tutor in my own home or online with extra notes and tasks to help with the topics currently being covered by your classroom teacher. I will also give guidance on how to answer exam questions using the command words set out by SQA as well as improving your general exam technique. I will set regular homework which will be completed prior to our next session so that there is time for me to mark and return it without losing valuable teaching time during the session.
I can also provide limited guidance on the structure and techniques required to produce coursework to a high standard but cannot provide specific guidance with the report the student is producing.
